どうやら、コミックの中では、「矢野」の家（離婚前の）は、釧路市柳町近所にあるようなんですね。
作者の小畑さん、このあたりの地名・地理に大変お詳しいのですが、ご自宅でもあるんじゃないかしら？？？

農協そばから、日赤に入るあたり、遠目に日赤病院が見えます。

「日赤十字前でバスを降りて」

In the BGI comis, Yano's home (before his mother devorced) locates in or at least close to Yanagimachi area of Kushiro city. I'm assuming that Ms. Obata's home might locate near here, as she knows TOO well to name her a stranger to the area.

in the comic, Yano says "getting off the bus in front of Nisseki (Red Cross hospital)."
